Hsiao-Ying Yang
Hsiao-Ying is an experienced landscape architect with 20 years of practice in the United States and internationally. Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of sectors, gaining extensive exposure to projects ranging from government institutions to private homes. Her attention to detail and expertise in construction administration have been key factors in the success of her notable projects.
Passionate about solving design challenges, Hsiao-Ying excels at transforming concepts into detailed plans, navigating complex design issues, and facilitating collaboration between designers and contractors, prioritizing each client’s unique needs. In addition to her design work, she has shared her knowledge and passion for the field as an adjunct professor in Taiwan and continues to mentor emerging designers. Her leadership has been demonstrated in successfully managing the landscape department at a major architecture firm in Taipei, where she led her team to win several awards.
Hsiao-Ying holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Design from Ming Chuan University in Taiwan.
