Amanda is a landscape designer with five years of experience in the NYC area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Studies from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Landscape Architecture with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design. While attending the latter, her work received two ASLA National Awards and an ASLA Boston Chapter Honor Award.
Amanda is interested in a human-centric innovative design that addresses urban resilience and views landscape architecture as a unique discipline that connects people with the environment. Her work at SWA emphasizes the roles of creativity, sustainability, and green infrastructure in successful placemaking. She has participated in a variety of domestic and international projects in the public realm including parks, waterfronts, master planning, streetscape, plazas, and local-scale community improvement projects.
